“Richard from Pegasus serviced our boiler and fixed our toilet. His communication is prompt and he always returned our calls. He is very knowledgable and his pricing is competitive. He was most helpful. We wouldn't hesitate in recommending him to friends and family. We will be using him for our next boiler service and any other plumbing work.

Google2026-04-10“Richard and Dan from Pegasus have been an absolute find! We contacted Pegasus due to a mains water leak. Richard spent hours, in the freezing temperatures digging until he located the issue. He kept us informed of the problem, how it was being resolved and the charges. Time keeping was reliable and they left the area as clean and tidy as possible including cutting up all the undergrowth they had had to remove and putting it in our brown bins. A huge thank you to them for being so incredibly helpful and sorting the issue so swiftly. We would recommend highly for excellent service.

Google2026-02-05“We had to have a new boiler fitted, we picked Pegasus after our gas fitted recommend Pegasus, Richard came to see us the same day & talked us through what we needed, it couldn’t have been a worst time as this happened in the very cold weather a few weeks ago, Richard came out a few days later to fit the new boiler & his friend Dan, there were both very efficient friendly & informative on what was going on, can’t recommend Pegasus enough very professional, now we’re nice & warm thanks to Richard & Dan”

He works very cleanly and was really friendly with my children. We found him very trustworthy and efficient. We are due our first boiler service soon and have had no issues

He has been fixing some very poor first fix and second fix plumbing the previous builders left behind, including a leaking soil pipe and fitting 3 bathrooms. He has worked hard to preserve the tiles and help keep cost and disruption down to help with the shoddy work I had left behind by the previous people and has restored my trust that not all tradesmen are bad. He also fixed issues with the boiler and corrected work from the previous plumber too.
I was left with no heating when the builders left and Richard explained the available options to get heat into the extension. I settled on under floor heating and Richard has been nothing but excellent in making sure the work is completed with minimal disruption and the site is always left tidy each day.”

Google2024-08-24“We had been let down by another plumber half an hour before he was supposed to arrive to fit a gas hob and sink at a rental property.
I got Richards number through a Facebook page and he responded to my message straight away and was out 2 hours later.
I only asked him to fit the hob as the tenants where desperate but he also installed the sink and feed for washing machine whilst he was there aswell!!!
He saved the day for us 🙌 🙏 especially as it was on a bank holiday Saturday!!!
Would highly recommend Richard and will be using him from now on for all our works.”

Richard was easily able to solve any problems that arose while he was working. He is tidy and left no mess for us to clear up afterwards. The whole process was completely stress fee from start to finish and prices charged are very competitive. I would have no hesitation in booking Rich again.

Having asked a few friends who said they would rate the plumbers they’d had, we were recommended Richard through a friend that was happy with the job their plumber had done. Richard is very professional, quotes and does the job when he says he’ll be there. The work didn’t take as long as it may have so Richard automatically reduced the about. He doesn’t try to overcharge and does a great job. Would definitely use again !”

He replaced my leaking tap, at the same time I mentioned the shower didn't have much water pressure power & mainly hot water, he took the time and trouble to go in to the loft to check the system out helping immensely Didn't charge any extra for doing that & did a brilliant job!! He fixed the toilet & also looked at my old oil boiler going to great lengths to find a 3 way valve (no-one else could!), I can use the hot water and heating separately now! He was helpful, courteous, thoughtful and not expensive at all. He was so good I recommended him to the company I was working for & they won't use anyone else now - & they are extremely particular!! Please contact him - you won't be sorry!”

Google2018-05-09“My Dad having a water leak at the ripe old age of 82 who had been in the building trade in his youth thought he could tackle it.
Later discovering it was a major job rang Severn Trent who gave him several numbers. Dad chose Richard Herbert.
He can not speak highly enough about Richard he came after finishing work that day and stayed till 8pm to stem the leak. Over the next few days replacing and redirecting the main water pipe as the one that had sprung a leak was paved under/in footings of the conservatory. A new pipe was connected in the passage and re
routed around the outside of the conservatory and tee'd off to neighbouring property as this is shared.
Richard is is reliable, trustworthy and very hard working.
Dad wouldn't entertain ever having anyone else.
